Boomer, my original Labrador, was the inspiration behind the establishment of Cross Road Kennels. He displayed exceptional abilities as a swimmer and quick learner from a young age and had a well-rounded personality that reflected his intelligence. However, during his waterfowl hunting escapades, he contracted Giardia and was later diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which prevented him from being bred. Despite this setback, we searched extensively for another dog with a similar bloodline to continue breeding after Boomer. His favorite activities include swimming, retrieving waterfowl, and upland birds.
